Are you an Automotive Test Engineer, looking to join a leading Research and Development Team for a major automotive manufacturer? Do you have a passion for future vehicle development?
If so Expleo have the opportunity for you. We are seeking a Test Engineer with experience within infotainment, to support the validation of infotainment electrical systems, navigation and audio systems on behalf of our globally successful Automotive OEM, based in Bedfordshire, on a contract basis.

Test Engineer responsibilities include:

Develop testing methods & procedures for validation of Infotainment systems
Ensure vehicle level quality, function and reliability standards are maintained with changes of Infotainment HW & SW
Creation of test reports
Root cause investigation
Technical support to the production plant
Management of suppliers

Background and skills required for the Test Engineer position:

Ideally Degree level qualified
Knowledge of software programming and software quality assurance
Experience of software application into vehicle ECUs in the manufacturing environment
Ability to risk assess software modifications and develop appropriate test plans
Understand network communications ie CAN, LIN
Ability to follow system circuit diagrams and identify electrical connections

Flexibility to travel, and a valid driving license are required for this role.
